Swiss DTC homologation and pedestrian test
A front splitter, diffuser or grille bought abroad will not automatically pass the Swiss vehicle inspection. The DTC (Dynamic Test Center) certificate confirms the part meets the requirements. We supply these certificates and develop new tests where none exist yet.
DTC material certificate
For ABS and carbon parts: side skirts, diffusers, side add-ons and spoilers. The certificate confirms the material is compliant.
DTC pedestrian test
Front splitters and grilles must prove pedestrian protection. We hold pedestrian tests for many Maxton Design models.
Developing new tests
If no test exists for your model, we present a car to the DTC and have the part approved. That is how we developed the tests for the VW Polo GTI Mk6, Alfa Romeo Giulia and Mercedes-AMG E53 W214.

What is a DTC certificate?
The DTC (Dynamic Test Center) issues certificates confirming that a part meets Swiss requirements. Without it, a splitter, grille or diffuser can be rejected at the vehicle inspection.
Is a Maxton Design splitter legal in Switzerland?
Yes, with the matching DTC pedestrian test. We hold tests for many models and develop new ones with our customers’ cars.
Can I buy parts without fitting?
Yes. We supply Maxton Design, KW, ST Suspensions and Hurricane parts with their certificates, with or without fitting.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, the workshop and car viewings are by appointment only. The easiest way is a WhatsApp message.
Do you take trade-ins?
Yes, we can take your car in part exchange. Financing and leasing can also be arranged.
